Commercial Pet Foods Contain Poison

In 1996, one of our cats started to gain a lot of weight very quickly and started to act sluggish. After about a 2 months of this, we brought him to the holistic vet, who suggested that we change his food.

I was sceptical. I though the vet was just trying to sell us some expensive designer cat food prior to having to operate...

No kidding, I was amazed that in about a week, the cat had started to run around again. His weight also stared to come off - we had our 2 year old cat back!

So, I really looked at the ingredients in the food I had switched to. Then I looked at the ingredients in other, supermarket brands and standard commercial brands. Uh-oh.

I'm not going to sell you anything here. I found out so much about the pet food industry, however, that my wife and I wrote a 20 page report on exactly what to avoid at all costs when choosing dog or cat food.

The Free Report - (Yup, it's free) is at: http://petfoodaudit.com

In essence, the 5 deadly "Red Flag" ingredients are:

Ethoxyquin, aka "E" used as a preservative, it's also used as rat poison

BHA and BHT are known carcinogens - proven to cause liver and kidney failure

Animal Digest - aka feces, also known to include pebbles from the bottom of chicken coops

By-Products - well this is just not meat. It's beaks, hair, feathers, eyeballs, rocks... the stuff that your cat or dog would discard if they devoured a fresh mouse or bird.

To make matters worse, the FDA, and the AAFCO do have guidelines for what is acceptable in pet food manufacturing, but 1) they are very loose and 2) they are nearly impossible to enforce.

Did you know that when dogs and cats are put to sleep (euthanized) at the vet, the remains are often shipped to rendering plants? No.... not just in the rural areas... we're talking about 200,000 animals per week in Los Angeles.

Yeah - and the rendering plants often take the plastic bag with the dog or cat - including flea collars, tags, etc - and well, they process the whole "parcel".

This means that 1) the chemical that put the dog or cat to sleep, Sodium Pentobarbitol, is now in the rendered material. This stuff does NOT breakdown in the rendering process. So, you are slowly euthanizing your pet - yes, really!

AND
2) the flea collars, plastic bags, and whatever else caused the cat or dog to get sick in the first place - are also now in the rendered material.

This stuff is called: Animal By-Product and it's often sold to pet food manufacturers.

Of course, animal by-product usually also contains the beaks, heads, feathers and more, as well.

Well - my point is to wake you up.
Please - read labels from now on.
Get the FREE report we prepared for you.

Just because the name on the food sounds scientific does not mean that the food is healthy.

Healthy food may seem a bit more expensive than slaughterhouse waste in a bag, but your pets won't have to eat as much to get their nutrition and your vet bills will be substantially lowered.

Think about it - and take action today.
